New Tricks

The past two days Miranda has been doing some new tricks. The first is very funny because it seems completely random to both Ben and me. It usually happens when Miranda is on the move, crawling to some unknown destination. All of a sudden she lays down on her belly and hits the ground several times with her hand extended out in front of her. She then gets back on her knees and heads off crawling to where ever she was going in the first place. It seriously looks like she is taking a moment to ref a wrestling match and is counting out the downed wrestler. The second trick usually occurs in the high chair. Well, this one isn't really a trick yet, but I'm trying to turn it into one. Miranda will just randomly raise one of her hands like she is asking to be called on in class. So I have started high-fiving her when she does this. I'll let you know when she's high-fiving on command.
