It looks like Miranda is truly becoming a San Antonioan, known for being fair weather fans to the SA Spurs. Miranda has decided to reject the Detroit Redwings since they lost their bid against the Pittsburgh Penguins for the Stanley Cup. Miranda didn't stay up for the game, but I told her of our team's loss the next day. She then spent the day shunning her
Scotty. She literally crawled over him all day Saturday to get to other toys. Later, she opened her toy drawer and pulled out her penguin rattle! So Ben and I decided to put her allegiance to the test.
We put Penguin and Scotty side by side on the couch.
First Miranda went for Scotty (whew!) ...
...but then she threw him on the ground!
She picked up Penguin ...
... and crawled away with him leaving Scotty behind.
So clearly we have a lot of work to do during the off season to win Miranda back and teach her what being a fan truly means. I mean, we came in second! It's not like we were the Thrashers or the Wild.

Maybe you should have given here the choice between the octopus and the mascot of some middling team.
Now don't knock the Thrasers! She could be rooting for the SA MLB team...no, okay the SA NFL team...no. How many pro teams do you have again?
Bwa ha ha! This totally cracked me up! And besides, what's wrong with being a fair weather fan? Sports are much more fun when the weather is fair!
