So when we had court on March 6th, we were told that since the 15 day waiting period landed on the holiday Nauryz, our waiting period would be extended and until the 25th or 26th of March. Later we received an email saying that the waiting period would expire today, March 27th. So the judge's order is official now and Ben and I are the proud parents to Miranda Aigerim Nichols.
Unfortunately, she's still half-way around the world in Kazakhstan and we're in Texas. We are headed back next weekend after all the necessary paper work is issued and in order. I should have more interesting blog posts once Miranda is at home with us, the real question is whether or not I'll have the time.

In regards to wondering how much time you'll have to keep people updated on things I think you'll do just fine. Kids keep you busy but if you have decent time management skills you'll be surprised how much you can cram into a day.
Can't wait to exchange child rearing stories. :)
