Kiddie Park has been in San Antonio since 1925. I remember going there when I was a kid. It has a big carousel and seven to ten other amusement park rides the perfect size for small children. So I was a bit dismayed that on our first visit about a year and a half ago for a birthday party, Miranda refused to go on any rides and only got her face painted. The second visit was similar, except this time she would sit in the little cars that rock if you put a quarter in them, except you couldn't put a quarter in them. The third friend to have a birthday party at Kiddie Park led to a carousel ride that she did not like, but we were now REQUIRED to put quarters in the quarter rides. Last weekend was take four, and ....

...and flew the pink airplane ...
... and raced ponies with the birthday girl A.
And the most shocking of all, she rode up front in the scary school bus! She did not do the ferris wheel or carousel, but there is always next time!
