Since I have yet to get my sewing machine out and actually make Miranda a costume, I did the next best thing and made her a candy bag that will perfectly compliment her store bought costume. I bought the canvas bag and felt in various colors at the local craft store for less than $7. For the parrot, I started with a pattern Ben found on the internet. I modified the wings, added the doo-rag and eye patch. A little hot glue later, we've got Pinocchio the Pirate Parrot (once again Miranda did the naming). Yo ho ho.
