Halloween
Earlier this month Miranda went to a pumpkin patch with her preschool and it has been the highlight of her month. Everyday she tells us some tidbit about her trip to the "pumpin patch." The most common tidbit is that Miss Kimberly drove the tractor ride to the pumpkin patch. She has also relayed that she had to scoot over so Ava could sit next to her, Tierney sat on the other side, Adrian sat across from her and also had to scoot over so Claire could sit next to him. And Emmy held her hand. That night in her crib she told her stuffed Cookie Monster "Pumpin patch, Tookie, pumpin patch!" So cute. We took her to another pumpkin patch Sunday afternoon since we didn't have any pictures to accompany her original adventure.
After our pumpkin patch trip, Miranda got all dressed up in her pumpkin fairy costume, the same one her friend Emma wore last year.
Grandma Carol came over to help us hand out candy and take Miranda trick-o-treating to a few houses on our street.
Miranda in action. She was great practicing her "trick or treat" and "thank you" at the curb, but once we got up to the houses she got shy again, but still managed to eek them out.
We have now switched out most of her candy healthier treats like graham crackers and animal crackers, but we did let her keep the skittles since she gets those at potty training incentives at school. Monday afternoon she was sorting through her bucket and didn't seem to notice (or mind) the switch. She did start naming off the days of the week when I told her she could only have one treat a day, after dinner. I think the little smarty pants was trying to figure out how far out her treats would last.

Adorable! And what's better than a stuffed cookie monster?
What a great Hall'o'ween month, 'pumpins,' tractors, friends, skittles and all. And what a precious costume! She looks really good in orange to boot!
Happy Hall'o'ween to you all.

When photographing my cute little niece, could you try to keep her more towards the center or right of the shot? I keep having to move all my icons around when I put her on my desktop!
The Halloween pictures are great. You all look like you are having so much fun. Feel free to send the trade out candy to Austin.
Precious!!
She is just cute as a button! I'm glad the pumpkin fairy worked out, too. : )
