this is why it's a blahg ...

sorry for no blog posts lately. i find it particularly difficut to blog when things are blah. my mom was in the hospital for a few days and then stayed with me and ben for a few weeks after. luckily she's doing really well and is back at her house, but that means i'm splitting time between her house and mine now. ben is working crazy hours and has been for the last two months. no updates on baby stuff. really just blah. the one interesting thing is i'm no longer the director of life pricing, i'm now the director of annuity and health pricing, so i'm learning new stuff at work which is always cool. plus, with the market woes, there is a flight to quality and my new annuity products are flying off the shelves. also, i've shunned capitalization in a non-work setting just because i'm too tired to hit the shift key. really, it is just wasted effort. hopefully things will pick up soon and i'll have more interesting things to update you on.
