Nothing says vacation like your condo catching on fire. Lucky for us the condos in question were just in the same unit as ours and not physically attached to where we were residing.
But at least the beach was pleasant, and mostly clean.

About the fire, sheesh! Good that you were only one flight up in the event of evacuation. So... did they say what kind of fire it was (e.g. smoking in bed, forgotten stove, lucky laptop, vengeful ex, too-many twinkle lights, etc.)?

According to the cleaning staff, it was electrical.
Yikes! That could have happened to anyone. Maybe it's time to find a new vacation condo?
